雪水消融的季節 After the Snowmelt

《雪水消融的季節》細膩描繪缺席與失去的脆弱性,導演踏上一場情感的搜索旅程,其逝去友人對於愛與自由的理念,及提早臨來的死亡之脆弱,成為這趟旅程的指引。本片探索哀傷與慾望的私密性,或許並非刻意為之,然藉此本片也成為生命韌性的宣言。

A film that very sensitively portrays the fragility of absence and loss. The director embarks on an affective search, guided by the vulnerability of a premature death and their missing friend's idea of love and freedom. A film that navigates the intimacy of grief and desire, becoming, perhaps unintentionally, a manifesto for resilience.

大風之島 Island of the Winds

《大風之島》涵蓋了許多面向:大膽、動人、私密而脆弱,以橫跨二十年的時間記錄一個被社會邊緣化的群體,關於其仍是進行式的歷史,及其為爭取正義而展開的集體行動。作為觀眾,我們在那些被社會視為有所缺陷的人們身上,見證到多重潛能:這群鼓舞人心的漢生病患,同時是深耕的倡議者,亦是貫徹創意於日常中的倖存者,以及彼此的親密家人。他們所積極建構的世界,以及在盟友支持下推進的政治運動,或許在瞬息之間讓人得以投注烏托邦式的寄託,得以瞥見另一種世界之存在可能。

This film is many things: bold, moving, intimate, and vulnerable, it documents - over the course of 20 years - the ongoing history of an outcast community and its collective organizing for justice. We as audience witness the multiple capacities in and of those who are deemed obsolete: an inspiring group of leprosy patients who are also grassroots activists, creative day-to-day survivors, and intimate kin to each other. The agentive world-building these protagonists perform, and the political movement they carry with the support of their allies, offer a perhaps utopian glimpse into how another world might be possible.

跳房子 Little Mirage  
簡潔且不拘泥於紀錄片的典型敘事,以創意的手法講述離與散,看似輕巧,實則深重。「家」的模擬,既凝鍊也間離「無屋者」共時的家庭記憶,以及對「家」的想像,更提問空間作為「家」的寓意。

本片在短短幾分鐘內立刻讓人置身於許多台灣家庭所面臨的處境⸺沒有自己的房子,而被迫租屋。導演以一種充滿趣味且極具原創的方式,深入挖掘他們曾經久住的家屋記憶。微縮模型如同催化劑,重新詮釋了這些家庭記憶、渴望,並投射出其他可能的未來。

With an understated and concise narrative that departs from conventional documentary forms, it tells a story of a family’s domestic diaspora through creative means—seemingly light, yet profoundly weighty. The simulation of “home” both crystallizes and distances the collective memory and the imagined home of the “houseless” while questioning the spatial metaphor of what it means to be “home.”

A short film that, in just a few minutes, immerses us in the reality of many Taiwanese families who do not own their homes and are forced to rent a place to live. In a playful and highly original way, the director decides to delve into the family memory of a house that embraced them for a long time. A scale model is the catalyst to re-signify those family memories, those desires, and to project other possible futures.

草莓蛋糕 Strawberry Shortcake 

《草莓蛋糕》以令人不安的方式展現家庭、身體和情色的交織,在表演和敘事上皆可見傑出之處。本片融合多層次的夢境、死亡和親情的束縛,以一種超越我們最狂野的想像方式,激發我們對於如何渴望及親近他人的想像。

Disturbingly physical, familial, and erotic, this film is a tour de force of performance and storytelling. It interweaves worlds of dreaming with death and kinship bondage in ways that move our imagining of how to desire and be intimate with each other beyond our wildest dreams.

萬歲家庭 A Long Way Home

導演吳念樺以女兒的視角回望家庭的幽微角落,以耐人尋味的影像探索與重建記憶,讓愛與傷痕在鏡頭之間緩緩堆疊。作品在形式與情感之間取得細膩的平衡,焦點不在揭露,而在誠實地靠近那個無法被言說的創痛。這份溫柔而堅定的創作思索,展現了導演無窮的潛力與敏銳的洞察力。

Director WU Nien-Hua surveys the hidden corners of her family through the gaze of a daughter, exploring and reconstructing memories with intriguing images, allowing love and scars to gradually intertwine between the frames. The film strikes a delicate balance between form and emotion, focusing not on revelation but on honestly approaching unspoken pain. This gentle yet resolute creative reflection demonstrates the director's boundless potential and keen insight.
