祖籍河北省東明縣人，1957 年出生於台北永和。政治大學中文系畢業，美國加州大學洛杉磯分校電影電視製作碩士。現任文化大學戲劇系專任副教授，並為自由影像工作者，從事紀錄片拍攝與文學創作。 Weitsy WANG's husband. JIING has been making documentaries together with Weitsy WANG for decades. Born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1957, JIING graduated from Department of Chinese Literature at NCCU in 1980 and completed MFA degree at UCLA in 1987.
淡江大學大眾傳播系副教授、曾任台灣女性影像學會理事長。著有《紀錄影像美學中的自我對話：介於真實／虛構、紀錄／戲劇之間》、《記錄與探索︰1990 迄今大陸紀錄片之發展與口述記錄》，並主編《台灣當代影像－從紀實到實驗》。紀錄片《學數學的女孩們》曾獲第51屆休士頓國際影展教育類白金獎。 WANG is the associate professor in Dept. Mass Communication in Tamkang University and executive supervisor of Taiwan Women´s Film Association. She has published several works about documentaries.
