    日常對話 Small Talk

    「我和母親就像是同個屋簷下的陌生人，唯一交集是她為我準備的吃食。我們之間沒有噓寒問暖、沒有母女的心裡話。在震耳欲聾的沈默之下，藏著令母親窒息且擺脫不去的恥辱。我終於鼓起勇氣與她開啟對話，但我真的準備好面對答案了嗎？」女兒拿起攝影機，拍攝家人之間的「日常對話」，緩緩述說跟著法師母親學「牽亡魂」的童年、家暴的父親。母親身邊的女伴不曾間斷，對於她從不掩飾的同性性向，女兒終於道出心中隱埋許久的祕密。在那張餐桌上，一個欲掙脫家庭的女人面對自己的女兒，攝影機也猶如手中法器，超渡了不願面對的過去。

    My mother and I live in the same space, yet we are like strangers under the same roof. The only interactions between us are the meals she cooks and leaves for me on our dining table. There are no greetings, farewells, or declarations of love. The house is filled with a palpable silence as I observe her, aware that there is a deep seated secret burdening her that keeps her from speaking out. However, I am uncertain if I am ready to confront whatever it is she wants to reveal.

    黃惠偵 Hui-chen HUANG

    六歲開始跟著媽媽跳陣頭，二十歲轉行從事社會工作，開始學習紀錄片，主要關注移工、原住民及土地議題。曾任台北市紀錄片從業人員職業工會秘書長，現為自由影像工作者及一個孩子的母親。作品包括《八東病房》、《烏將要回家》、《我和我的T 媽媽》等紀錄片。《日常對話》在柏林影展國際首映並獲得泰迪熊獎。 Huang Hui-chen is an activist and documentary filmmaker. Before moving into films, she worked for the NGOs such as Taiwan International Workers Association and the China Time's Trade Union , advocating labour right and social justice.
