    舞蹈家玉蘭已屆退齡但芳華仍盛，面臨養母的年老失能，不得不引退回鄉，而新生活揭開了舊時光的疤痕。即將到來的新生命使高齡產婦的玉蘭循著內心的軌跡進入命運之圓。出發即重返，起點亦終點；最終或許會知曉，人生的每道陰翳，都是光的孩子。

    Yu-lan comes to Taipei from southern Taiwan. She enjoys a successful career as a dancer. Because of dementia, her foster mother has no choice but to retire and go back home. However, the trial and tribulation of her new life have reminded her of her childhood memories. During an argument with her mother’s foreign caretaker, the cause of her foster brother’s death and the secrets about her biological mother are gradually being revealed. As a woman of the advanced maternal age, Yu-lan has found herself unexpectedly pregnant. Following her heart, she has entered the circle of destiny. Departure means coming back, and her starting point is also her finish line. Is birth adjacent to or far away from death? Maybe at last, you’ll see that the shadow you meet will be also the light to guide your life.

    徐麗雯Herb HSU

    出生於台灣南方，集演員、導演、編劇、作家才華於一身的創作型電影人。 編導電視電影《黑貓大旅社》(2011)曾獲邀參加香港電影節，《光的孩子》（2021）曾獲金鍾獎最佳編劇獎。最新作品為2022年執導迷你劇集《你的婚姻不是你的婚姻--沙之書》。她在《流麻溝十五號》中的演出也深受好評。 HSU is an actress, director, scriptwriter and writer. She wrote and directed shorts, documentaries and features. Her telefilm Hotel Blackcat (2011) was screened at Hong Kong International Film Festival. Her Approaching (2014) was nominated Best Telefilm of Golden Bell Awards. Her latest feature film Book of Bayes is streamed on Netflix. The child of Light (2021) won Best Screenplay Golden Bell Award. Herb’s acting in Untold Herstory (2022) as a leading role is highly appraised.
