    母親雖已缺席，世界仍兀自往下滾動。唯有女兒泅泳於無盡的思念，連週遭尋常細微的一物一景，都漾成觸景生情的悲傷漣漪……。跨越生死的親情書寫，世紀末最纖細動人的影像詩。

    WU Wuna’s Farewell 1999 is an intensely personal and poetic piece about her late mother. In 2003, as she became aware that her memories of her mother were fading, Wuna realized that she only had one small piece of home video with her mother in it. Farewell 1999 is an experimental documentary that speaks about the difficulty and importance of mourning – indeed, it is an act of mourning.

    吳汰紝Wuna Wu

    吳汰紝，台南藝術大學音像紀錄所碩士，獨立影像工作者及身心治療師。首部紀錄片作品《快不快樂四人行》即獲得2003台北電影節最佳紀錄片，隔年以《再會吧1999》勇奪台北電影獎百萬首獎，與瑞士真實紀錄片影展青年獎首獎。 Wuna Wu is an independent documentary filmmaker. She graduated from the Graduate Institute of Sound and Image at Tainan National University of the Arts. Her Farewell 1999, which explores her relationship with her deceased mother, won the Grand Prize at the 2004 Taipei Film Festival and a New Look Award at the 2005 Visions du Réel documentary film festival in Switzerland. Let’s Fall in Love film series explores the diverse perspectives on marriage nowadays.
