1961年生於比利時魯文市，1988年畢業於倫敦電影學校，1989於布魯塞爾成立電影製作公司，拍攝短片、劇情長片及紀錄片，之後並在法國與比利時等電視台擔任導演工作。她同時也是一位傑出的攝影師，除了為雜誌拍攝人物攝影之外，也致力於以殘障人士與兒童為主題的報導攝影。
